About Us

The Curtis Foundation is a local, non-political, non-profit organization that has served the Triangle community for 25 years by providing funds for educational and community-related initiatives.

The Grow My Church Family Initiative is the brainchild of North Carolina broadcaster Don Curtis. Don and and his late wife Barbara, the founders of both the Curtis Foundation and Curtis Media Group, have established a rich legacy of active participation in their local house of worship. Post-pandemic, the Curtis family has experienced – firsthand – how Sunday morning worship service attendance habits have changed and how, overall, house of worship engagement has been negatively impacted. To help counter this trend, the Curtis Foundation is offering the power of local media to encourage listeners to re-engage in the life of their local house of worship.
