Why is the Curtis Foundation sponsoring the Grow My Church Family Initiative?
The Curtis Foundation is a local, non-political, non-profit organization that has served the Triangle community for 25 years by providing funds for educational and community-related initiatives.
Don Curtis and his late wife Barbara, the founders of both the Curtis Foundation and Curtis Media Group, have established a legacy of active participation in their local house of worship and have seen how Sunday morning worship service attendance habits have changed.
Who is eligible to participate in the Grow My Church Family Initiative?
All churches and houses of worship that are located in Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Johnston, Orange, and Wake counties (the local broadcast media partners’ coverage area) are invited to participate in the Grow My Church Family Initiative.
Is participation in the campaign really being offered at no cost?
Yes. The Curtis Foundation is underwriting all media and creative digital assets associated with the Grow My Church Family Initiative. No costs from the campaign will be passed along to church and house of worship partners.
When will the Grow My Church Family Initiative begin?
The Grow My Church Family Initiative will consist of two different media / promotional campaigns, with the first campaign starting in Spring 2024. The second portion of the campaign is scheduled to launch in fourth quarter 2024.
What support materials will be offered to help me promote the Grow My Church Family Initiative with my local congregation?
An online library of posters, flyers, bulletin inserts, and social media graphics will be available to support the Grow My Church Family Initiative. A website link will be provided to enrolled participants so that you can download art files and customize them. At the option of the participants, supplies of printed materials may be available at a special rate.
